Dilemma
Ultimate Blogger Challenge- Day 3:
I was supposed to be giving a book review today for the challenge, but since I recently talked about books, I decided to just vent about my day. It's been raining off and on all day, that kind of weather where you don't want to do anything. On top of that, my first class was cancelled so I had no obligations until 3:35pm. Despite all this, I still woke up at my normal time, made a list of people to send my graduation announcements to, did a class assignment, caught up on some emails, attended an extra-credit lecture, and went to my 3:35 class. While most people would consider this a productive and successful day, there is ONE thing that has been on my mind this whole time and it's this blog. I've been struggling with whether or not to switch over to a different blogging site with better theme options. The problem is, I already have so many posts on this one, I don't want to have to start fresh. On that note, I'm off to figure this dilemma out before I drive myself crazy!

Confidence
Ultimate Blogger Challenge- Day 2:
Today for the challenge, I was asked to write about a person or trait I admire. There are plenty of people I look up to: my parents, people I've worked with, and many of my sorority sisters and peers that I'm surrounded by every day. The people I admire most are usually unique, outgoing, humorous, and selfless; but the one most encompassing trait tends to be confidence. There is no limit to what a confident person can do, whether it be wearing something bold, making a speech in front of hundreds of people, approaching the cute boy across the room, or nailing the interview. Confidence is an unconditional trust and belief in oneself and with that, nothing can stop you. My own confidence is like a delicate bubble; I have it one minute, but the second I start comparing myself to others it *pops* and I turn into sheepish Sally. There is one explanation for this: jealousy. It is the one thing that can keep us from being confident in ourselves, no matter how truly great we are. My goal is to stop comparing myself to everyone else and realize that who I am has nothing to do with them. I'll leave you with a piece of advice my dad always told me, "if you don't love yourself, why would anyone else?"

April Fools
Ultimate Blog Challenge- Day 1:
While traditionally it's a day full of pranks and laughing, April Fool's day has never been too successful for me. I usually spend the day devising the perfect pranks, then deciding they are too mean to go through with. I've debated them all... the pregnancy scare, rubber band around the sink, car accident, and always chicken out. (I have, however, helped convince my roommate's mom that her daughter got a DUI; but that's another story and for the record, I felt awful doing it!) I had a test today in business law that I had really hoped was just an April Fool's trick by my professor. It wasn't. While I was walking to my first class, my water bottle leaked (more like poured out) and created a three inch puddle inside my purse! Normally, that may not be such a big deal, but today it was holding my class notebook and the precious flashcards I had spent hours making for my test! It seems the April Fool's gods thought I needed a good pranking, and not the laughing kind. Luckily, I was able to salvage the cards and still read through the blurry ink a few more times before my test. The notebook may not be so lucky... Even though my day didn't go as smoothly as planned, I'd love to hear other stories! Comment and tell me what you did today, maybe I'll get some new ideas for next year!
